I am down to the last 5 1/2 weeks of my pregnancy. I feel like I have been pregnant forever! I am very excited that the due date is so close, and wish it would come sooner than later so that I can be relieved from my discomforts (back pain, not being comfortable enough to sleep at night, heartburn, etc.)

The baby's room is all finished, save for I need to buy some curtains and maybe do a little touch-up painting. He has more clothes than he's ever going to be able to wear, and I can't wait to put him in his infant swing and give him his first bath in his little bath tub!

Besides being extremely excited, I am a little anxious, too. I'm nervous thinking about labor pains, mostly, and how the whole birthing process will go (since every woman is different). After the labor pains and actual giving birth, though, I know I am SO ready to be a mommy! And Daddy is very excited, too.

So, here's to playing the waiting game!
